The Week In Warez which had its start in July 1995 was the predecessor to more well-known publication Inquisition. The editors believed there was a need for a scene based newsletter to be produced on a weekly cycle. This publication established many of the common format conventions that future magazines would follow. It had the support of some well known scene personalities including Lester, Bishop, Cyber Angel, Mikeysoft, Jimmy Jamez who all held prominent positions at the time.
